Moving The Classroom Beyond Four Walls
Kids Should Be Outside
The Education You Wish You Had
Connecting. Creating. Playing. Imagining. Exploring.
The Nature School is not your average school. Here, children can stop and smell the roses - literally. We've moved the classroom outside of four walls, enabling kids to learn through nature and connect with their environment; a natural habitat. Give your children the education you wish you had.

RETURNING TO NATURE
Americans went on 1 billion fewer outings in nature in 2018 compared with 2008. Today, 85 percent of adults say they spent more time outside when they were kids than children do today.
How does this affect children?
- Decreased creativity
- Increased unhappiness
- Decreased ability to focus

TOO MUCH SCREENTIME
Technology is displacing the outdoors in our attention: A 2017 study noted that screen time is rising rapidly for all age groups-and children’s outdoor play has declined substantially.
Screen time is going up and outdoor experiences are going down.
If you are falling away from nature, you are almost certainly lowering your well-being and increasing your unhappiness.
WE'RE HERE TO HELP
You may have seen this study or read this research. Perhaps you subscribe to the podcast Run Wild My Child or you might be familiar with the best-selling book Last Child in the Woods.
But even if you haven’t, you get that being outside is important to your child’s health. And even if you can’t spend your day outside we would love to help you provide that for your child.
If you want your child to experience the benefits that come from being outdoors then they need to experience nature-based education with us.
TESTIMONIALS

My daughter gained so much knowledge, wonderful memories, and hopefully life-long friendships during her experience at The Nature School. Her teachers have loved her every step of the way and we are so grateful for each of them. As we conclude our experience at The Nature School my tears are mostly happy tears, but truthfully, they’re a bit sad as I think about one this wonderful chapter of her life closing.

I cannot put into words how much this school means to us. Our son wakes up every morning excited to go to school. The empathy he’s developed toward others and his respect for wildlife and plant-life developed tremendously while at The Nature School. I was very worried that he might not be prepared for kindergarten but I don’t have that worry anymore after our experience at The Nature School.

After a few years of attending, I can say that this is a very professional and trustworthy organization. The owners care a lot about their service to our family and my children. No organization is without blemish but I can say that each time I’ve shared feedback that I’ve been heard. Sometimes directly with the owners. It’s clear that they want to offer a first-class service. As a result, our experience has been really good.
